This Large Apartment in Regents Park, is a perfect example of how advanced but discrete systems can blend into the ultra-modern surroundings. The System is largely concentrated around the security and entertainment systems, but additionally has some interesting and quirky features.
There is a central touch screen control Panel that allows access and management of the 4 security cameras, fire alarm system, communication systems, internal and external temperature, burglary alarm, auto sky-box re-boot, auto router re-boot and AV. The remote access iPhone app also allows access to all the above and more. The entrances are furnished with key fob entry which can arm or dis-arm the alarm and release the lock for the relevant door in order to gain entry, in the event of a fire or burglary alert, there is a third party monitoring company that processes the alarm condition and notifies designated key-holders.
The entertainment is subtle but powerful; there is a 4×4 HDMI over cat5 matrix switch to distribute the HD satellite, CCTV and Blu-ray disc sources. Sonos music players are implemented and the Audio from the television is back-fed into the Sonos. The Lounge TV is impressively set back flush into the immaculate stone work and is a 65” Samsung curved 4K smart display.
The project was completed over the course of about 10 months and consumed a good 6 weeks of our labour forces time.
